Ava and Daddy Date!

Since Jason will be deploying AGAIN the end of Feb. for 7 mo :( The kids have had special dates with Daddy! It's their choice and of course Ethan picked going to work with Jason! LOL They went to the field together last Sat. and Ethan got to wear his cammies and sit in the humvees, etc. Sadly, Jase didn't have the camera :( Tonight was Ava's turn and she picked going to see the movie, Bolt! They each had a BLAST on their special date with their Dad and created fun memories that they can think of when he's gone. Here's a pic of Ava and J tonight before they left!

Christmas fun at school!

Last week the kids had many parties and programs at school to celebrate Christmas! Ava was in a play called "A Penquin Christmas" where she played......................you guessed it.........A PENQUIN! It was soooooo cute! Unfortunately I have a crappy camera and all my pics came out dark during the show. Ethan was also in a pre-K singing program that was adorable and you could hear him over everyone else (he LOVES to sing!) Those pics also turned out too dark! Fortunately all the close-up pics I took before and after the shows or in their classrooms during their parties, came out great!

He asked for one this morning :) We got MANY compliments at school, the post office, Target and Petsmart! LOL I think it's adorable - Jason was less than pleased! hee hee

Like mother, like daughter! When I started PeeWee C-leading I was in 6th grade and I cheered for the Chiefs. Ava is in 2nd and started a few weeks ago and guess who her coaches are...........................ME and my friend (from Chi-town), Jacole! We've only had two games and a few practices, but the girls are doing GREAT! We are called the Patriots, but we cheer for a different b-ball team every Sat. on base through Youth Sports. We will be getting our professional team photos after the holidays and I will post them soon! Here are a few candids I took on Sat. LAST TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Visiting Family in Chicago - part one!

For Thanksgiving we drove 18 hrs to Chgo to have Thanksgiving with my Dad and his wife, Mary and family! We had such a blast! Her family all gets together at a bar they own and close down for the day! There were probably 50-75 people there at least! We ate tons of food and played tons of games! On Black Friday we were out at 3:30 to SHOP till we dropped (and we did!) It was so fun and we got a million great deals! They also surprised us with the Barnum and Bailey Circus! It was really good! The kids loved it and it was Jason's first time! HA! On Sat. night we celebrated Christmas and were spoiled rotten! We all got everything we asked for and more! It was such a fun weekend, even though it was too short and far! We want to go again next year, but hopefully stay longer and see more family and friends! I didn't get to eat at Gene and Jude's either, so that is priority on my list for next time! Thank you Dad and Mary for a WONDERFUL time, as always and a great Thanksgiving and Christmas! We all had a blast! We miss you and love you!

Visiting Family in Chgo, part 2

While in Chgo for Thanksgiving, we visited my Grandparents, Auntie Donna and cousin Scott, Uncle Bob and cousins Gina and Angela! It was soooooooo good to see everyone and we had a BLAST talking and laughing all night! Of course the dinner was delicious too, as usual! Thank you Grandma! Can't wait to see you guys again - maybe this summer? LOVE YOU!

New Update on Chloe!

Chloe turned one month old today! She is soooooo beautiful and sweet! Unfortunately she had a Cardiologist appt. today and was sent back to the hospital to have a feeding tube inserted :( She has only gained 5 oz. in one month and needs to gain more. Chad and Kelly will stay in the hospital for a few days with her and then, if all runs smoothly, she will be sent home with the feeding tube for a while. Thank you so much to all of you that have purchased socks (and came back for more!) For those of you still wanting them, you only have a few more weeks left (Dec. 31st)!! I've been busy beading, but still have time for more :) Thanks so much for all of your help and support, love and prayers!
