This was my second (I think), Thanksgiving that I was able to host. Usually we travel to visit family, but since Jason just returned from ASSghanistan, he wasn't allowed leave until Dec. So, we were blessed to have our amazing friends over, The Miles Family and Steve and Dani. (Steve and Dani are getting married this June in NY and Jason is actually a groomsman! WE CAN'T WAIT!) We've also always heard how awesome deep fried turkeys are, so we decided to buy a fryer and try it out. If it turned out well, we planned on doing it again for Christmas and to our delight, it was DEEEEEELICIOUS!!! We had such a FUN day with a lot of yummy food! The kids were outside playing allllllll day, so I never got any pics of them except at the end of the night! The next morning at 4am Renee and I headed out to throw elbows with the other crazy people on Black Friday and had a BLAST!!!!!!!!!
