Black Friday.......................AGAIN!

I always thought the day after Thanksgiving was the ONLY black Friday for shopping, but NO! The day after X-mas this year was just as good! Jason especially loved it as I dragged him from store to store (although most of the items purchased were for HIM!) We also enjoyed a special treat at Sbux of course :) That night we went to Mike's Farm to see the festival of lights and eat a family style chicken dinner that was deeeeeeeeeLISH! And I also enjoyed taking pics with my new camera all day! Thank you Mom! I LOVE IT!!!!!! :) Oh and the kid's new coats from Dad and Mary.....................PERFECT! Lastly, Ava's new purse from G-ma and G-pa Reno is THE CUTEST EVER and she lovessssssss it! THANK YOU!

Christmas Fun 2008!!!

This was our first Christmas in our own house! Usually we travel to be with family and Santa finds us and leaves gifts for the kids under other trees! It was so exciting to wake up in our own home and find gifts left by Santa under our tree! The kids are at a great age for giving and receiving and we had a blast together! Afterwards I made french toast on my new griddle while the kids played and played! Later that day we saw "Bedtime Stories" and I made a traditional X-mas dinner with all the fixins! It was yummy :) The kids love all of their gifts and so do we! Too many to list here, but THANK YOU FAMILY and FRIENDS!!!!! :) Here's t a Happy New Year and a GREAT 2009! We love you!

Ethan's Daddy Day!!!

Ava and Daddy Date!

Since Jason will be deploying AGAIN the end of Feb. for 7 mo :( The kids have had special dates with Daddy! It's their choice and of course Ethan picked going to work with Jason! LOL They went to the field together last Sat. and Ethan got to wear his cammies and sit in the humvees, etc. Sadly, Jase didn't have the camera :( Tonight was Ava's turn and she picked going to see the movie, Bolt! They each had a BLAST on their special date with their Dad and created fun memories that they can think of when he's gone. Here's a pic of Ava and J tonight before they left!

Christmas fun at school!

Last week the kids had many parties and programs at school to celebrate Christmas! Ava was in a play called "A Penquin Christmas" where she played......................you guessed it.........A PENQUIN! It was soooooo cute! Unfortunately I have a crappy camera and all my pics came out dark during the show. Ethan was also in a pre-K singing program that was adorable and you could hear him over everyone else (he LOVES to sing!) Those pics also turned out too dark! Fortunately all the close-up pics I took before and after the shows or in their classrooms during their parties, came out great!

He asked for one this morning :) We got MANY compliments at school, the post office, Target and Petsmart! LOL I think it's adorable - Jason was less than pleased! hee hee
